Brian Ellis Retires as General Secretary of the ESA

As a founder member of the ESA in 1991 Brian Ellis is retiring as General Secretary of the European Sealing Association. Brian has been the "soul" of the ESA for over 20 years which is an incredible achievement. Throughout he has managed to convey energy, passion and professionalism. Brian has been able to transform an idea of a small group of entrepreneurs into a leading association in Europe. Today there are more than 50 Members companies and it is heavily involved in many activities related to not just the European sealing world but the USA, developing strong links with the Fluid Sealing Association. Over the last 6 months Brian been instrumental in supporting Mark Neal, our new Secretary, sharing with him his vast knowledge and coaching him through the handover process.

Brian will participate on our next General Meeting in May, giving members the opportunity to thanks him for the outstanding contribution and to celebrate this important personal achievement.
