Latest digital communication channels statistics

Our February newsletter was sent out on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018, to 380 recipients. By March 14th2018123 users (32.5%) opened it, most were from the United Kingdom, followed by Germany and the USA. 54 (14.2%) recipients clicked on at least one of the articles. The open rate and click rates were both a little above than the average for the ESA newsletter, and both indicators are well above the industrial average.

Packings Division – Update from the Technical Director David Edwin-Scott

Draft 4 of the Packing Standard PD 002 to replace and update the obsolete British Standard BS4371 was reviewed at length at a Technical Task Force meeting on 12th March attended by several member companies including colleagues from the FSA by video conference. A number of amendments and additions were agreed along with a request for each member to advise the key quality aspects of each of the packing types and tests to measure them.
