Survey Results

On behalf of the Executive Committee we would like to thank all those members and non members who took part in the recent survey. I know surveys can be tedious and time consuming but it’s one method of gauging which way to steer the ESA for the future. We intend to use the results of the survey to develop a strategy for the ESA  together with short and long term goals. We’ve never undertaken such an exercise before but it was definitely worthwhile and something that will be undertaken again.

ESA's New Year Message

2015 has been a great year for the ESA with some strong progress in a number of areas. We have developed ESA’s first specification to be formally recognized as an International Standard - EN 16752 ‘Centrifugal Pumps – Test Procedure for Seal Packings’. Following on from this, we have also started working on our Potable Water Standard Project with a view to creating a new International Standard. We also continued our efforts, together with FSA, to ensure Sealing Devices would be included in the Environmental Goods Act (EGA).
