Achema, the biggest trade show for chemical engineering, process industry, and biotechnology, took place in Frankfurt from June 10th to 14th, 2024. Sandy Van den Broeck, ESA’s ESG Director, and Ralf Vogel, ESA’s Technical Director, visited the exhibition on June 12th, 2024.
The focus was on Halls 8 and 9, where many of our members had stands or were visiting. The main topics relating to the sealing industry were product innovation, hydrogen, and PFAS. By talking to members and end customers from the pump and valve industry, valuable feedback on current trends in the industry was gained.
Additionally, publishing partners like KCI with Valve World magazine were present, and we met the new editor of the magazine. The feedback from the members was that the exhibition was well attended and that many interesting discussions took place, which will hopefully lead to business opportunities.
